Strathvea is in the middle of the tall forests of the Yarra Ranges. The first walk we recommend is around our garden. We have 5 acres of lush English garden. Then it is just a short drive to two bush walks.Mt St Leonards Walk gives you views from the old fire watch tower over the entire Yarra Valley and to Melbourne and the bay on a clear day.
Donnelly’s Weir – Maroondah Dam walk takes you along the side of one of Melbournes aqueducts, through forest and ends up at the Maroondah Dam wall and picnic grounds.
A refreshing way to catch the sounds and smells of the bush.
