McVea designed and planted the five acres of English-style garden before building his guest house. The property is bordered by towering rainforest featuring giant tree ferns and mountain ash.Strathvea’s garden is a delight – tall banks of vibrant Rhododendrons, Camellias and Azalias, pink Dogwoods and clouds of Cherry and Apple blossom create a spring spectacular.
